India’s quest for the title was nothing but impressive. They began their campaign with a strong six-wicket win against Bangladesh, establishing the tone for the tournament. With this, they grabbed a dominating six-wicket victory over arch-nemesis Pakistan, a match that not just proved their merit but also tested their pressure-coping skills. With the same pace, India thrashed New Zealand by 44 runs, a game that proved their bowlers’ worth when it came to rising to the challenge.

In a do-or-die semi-final showdown, India trounced Australia by four wickets, a match characterized by level heads under pressure and masterstrokes. Their grand finale against New Zealand was a fitting conclusion, with them chasing the target in a four-wicket victory, becoming back-to-back ICC champions.
