According to a Mumbai Mirror report, a source has informed, “In the event of the 45-day tour, the BCCI did not want a fixed slot for the WAGs. It may or may not suit all of them. So, we’ve decided that the ladies can join their men for any 14 days during the tour after the first two weeks.”

A team India source told, “It is raining now and the weather is fine.”

He was asked whether the team management is thinking again about the team strategy for the first Test due to changing the weather condition.

In reply, the source said, “We need to check the wicket and look at the weather also. We will see the conditions tomorrow.”
