The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has once again proved that there is no denying the fact that they are the most profitable cricket board as data suggests that the Indian cricket board still generates more revenue than any of its counterparts. As per the data posted by Times Now, BCCI has managed to generate 23% more revenue than Cricket Australia (CA), which settles for the second position in the category.
As per reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India churns out revenue of a staggering ₹3,730 crores (data as of 2021) while the second-placed Cricket Australia generates an estimated revenue of ₹2,843 Crore. The third position has been occupied by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as they have managed to generate revenue of ₹2,135 crores in the said cycle.

Further, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is standing at the fourth spot with an estimated revenue generation of INR 811 Crore. At number five is the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) with a revenue generation of INR 802 crore, while the sixth and seventh positions are occupied by the Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the New Zealand Cricket Board (NZC) with ₹485 crores and ₹210 crores.
The West Indies Cricket Board (₹116 Crores), Zimbabwe Cricket Board (₹113 Crores), and, Sri Lanka Cricket (₹100 Crores) take the last three positions on this list.

Notable, the high-profile Indian Premier League’s (IPL) success over the years has helped the BCCI in becoming the undisputed cricket board in the world. In fact, the toughest T20 league in the world has surpassed its competitors like the Big Bash League (BBL), The Hundred, etc. by miles in terms of revenue generation and a commercially viable product.
