The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has asked for entries in regards to ‘expression of interest’ for Indian Premier League (IPL) partner right.

A media release in reference of the same reads “The BCCI invites third parties to indicate their interest in acquiring any of the following rights: IPL Official Partner Rights, IPL Strategic Time Out Partner Rights and IPL Umpire Partner Rights.”

Meanwhile, these rights will be available for at least three years. The release further stated “No more than one-third party will be granted rights in relation to each Product Category. The Board intends (but shall not be obliged) to appoint up to a maximum of six Official Partners, one Strategic Timeout Partner and one Umpire Partner.”

The next season IPL will witness several changes as Decision Review System (DRS) may get included in the tournament and every team will see a drastic change in the squad. Also, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals are coming back in the tournament.
