Recently, a report claimed that the Indian skipper Virat Kohli was asked to be humble to talk in future. However, recently the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released a statement where they deny this whole news and classified it as baseless.
The Indian skipper Virat Kohli has recently involved in a national controversy when he told the fans to leave the country if they can’t support the Indian cricketers.
In a recent video, when Kohli was reading some social media reactions and giving the replies on those, he read a Twitter message where a fan wrote about Kohli, “Over-rated batsman and personally I see nothing special in his batting. I enjoy watching English and Australian batsmen more than these Indians.”
In reply, Kohli said in that video, “Okay, I don’t think you should live in India then…you should go and live somewhere else, no? Why are you living in our country and loving other countries? I don’t mind you not liking me but I don’t think you should live in our country and like other things. Get your priorities right.”
Soon, Kohli was brutally trolled and criticised for his comment as some fans have felt unhappy on this comment.
Later, Kohli posted on his official Twitter account, “I guess trolling isn’t for me guys, I’ll stick to getting trolled! I spoke about how ‘these Indians’ was mentioned in the comment and that’s all. I’m all for freedom of choice. Keep it light guys and enjoy the festive season. Love and peace to all.”

Indian cricket team is now busy for the Australia tour, where the international matches will begin from November 21. Just before the team’s departure for Australia, a report claimed that Kohli was asked to be humble to talk in future.
According to the Mumbai Mirror, a CoA member said, “He was told to be humble, in his interactions both with the press and the public. It was conveyed to Kohli that his recent conduct reeked of arrogance.”
However, BCCI released a statement on this matter where they confirmed that there was no memo has been sent to Kohli on this matter.
BCCI statement said, “The BCCI after consulting with the team management would like to rubbish the report and classify it as baseless.”
