Over teh years, cricket has always been a game of margins and the intriguing rivalry between the bat and the ball is what makes the game much more interesting. A bowler has six deliveries in an over and he/she has plenty of time to read the batter’s mind which provides the opportunities to bowl tricky deliveries to outsmart the batter at the best scenes.
On the other hand, we have also seen batters mounting the pressure on the bowlers. It is easy to dominate the bowler by playing aggressive cricket from the word go. This is when the mentality of the bowler is tested but if the batter takes the attack to the cleaners, he/she takes the game away from the opposition.
Over the years, the fans have witnessed some of the thrilling encounters of the game of cricket. Having said that cricket is a game of fine margins, it is really hard to see teams losing the game by 1 run. However, this is what happens when both teams go out on an all-out attack.
Recently, the BCCI AGM festival game between BCCI Secretary XI and BCCI President XI exceeded the expectations of the fans.
