Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar made a splendid comeback after an ordinary bowling display in the first ODI. He did his homework well as he got two wickets with the new ball in the 2nd ODI.
Team India had plans for the New Zealand batsmen and the bowlers executed them well on the field, especially Bhuvneshwar. Colin Munro got the visitors off to a decent start at Pune but could not even play a cameo. The southpaw was outdone by a knuckleball from Bhuvneshwar. The ball swung and took an inside edge off the bat, hit his thigh pad and then the leg stump.
Bhuvneshwar stunned Munro with an outswinging knuckleball. The explosive Kiwi batsman was surprised by the delivery as he wasn’t able to judge the pace and the line of the ball. It was a setup for Munro as the Indian seamers bowled him a few bouncers and slower deliveries.
