Indian skipper Virat Kohli is arguably one of the greatest batsmen in the world right now but even he couldn’t help but bow down to Bhuvneshwar Kumar’six-hittingng ability.
Bhuvneshwar smashed a quickfire 26 off just 15 balls in the first ODI against New Zealand on Sunday in Mumbai, which included a couple of sixes.
During one of the sixes, which went straight over long on for a maximum, even Kohli was stunned considering Bhuvneshwar is hardly considered a pinch hitter.

However, Bhuvi’s effort went in vain as New Zealand won the game by 6 wickets. Latham (103*) brought up his fourth ODI hundred as he got the support of Ross Taylor (95) in later stages of the chase on a Wankhede pitch.
Taylor and Latham started their partnership at 80 for 3 with India trying to seal a victory but their 200-run stand for the fourth wicket proved to be a clincher in the end.
The Indian bowling attack didn’t seem to be lethal enough despite the wicket being not so conducive for batting. The best part about the New Zealand run-chase was that they achieved the target without taking unnecessary risks.
