The veteran Indian pacer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar had one of the best possible debuts for a fast bowler in ODIs against Pakistan when he clean-bowled Mohammad Hafeez on the first ball he bowled in international cricket. He became the first bowler to get a wicket on his first delivery in ODIs. Since then, he became an important part of the Indian team in all three formats.

Bhuvneshwar was the first Indian bowler to pick five-wicket hauls in all three formats of the game and has shown tremendous talent with the bat as well, with multiple half-centuries in Tests and ODIs, which came in a tough chase against Sri Lanka. Currently, he was named in the India squad for the South Africa ODI series which was called off due to coronavirus outbreak.

Kumar got hitched to longtime sweetheart Nupur in November 2017. He had been laid low with multiple injuries starting the 2019 World Cup and then was diagnosed with a sports hernia. He shared why he doesn’t use social media often.

During a show on Cribuzz, Bhuvneshwar said, “She (Nupur) asked me for the Facebook password but I made some excuses. So the next days she tells me that this is your new password. She literally hacked my account and I have not used Facebook since then.”

Here is the video of the same:

The couple had first met when he was 13, while Nupur revealed that her husband’s spell in his debut T20I against Pakistan, in 2012, is her favorite. He had taken 3/9 in four overs, but India lost the match to their arch-rivals by five wickets.

Recalling the same, Nupur said, “His debut against Pakistan. I was in the hostel then and my friends did not have any idea about me and Bhuvi. So they were also very impressed with his bowling. While watching the match they were saying ‘call that 15-number T-shirt guy for bowling’ and I was happy knowing that he was in demand.”
