Former New Zealand cricketer Nathan McCullum had a false death rumour on the social media on Saturday (December 1) but soon the 38-year-old cricketer dismissed that rumour through his official Twitter account. Later, his younger brother and former star New Zealand cricketer Brendon McCullum gave a hard reply to the fake rumours’ spreaders.
Suddenly on Saturday, the news was spreading on the social media where it was claiming that Nathan McCullum had passed away at the age of 38. It also added that his wife Vanessa McCullum announced that news.
After knowing that news, Nathan quickly posted on his Twitter account to inform everyone that he is totally fine and it was totally the fake news.
He posted on his official Twitter account, “I am alive and kicking more than ever before. Not sure where this news has come from but this is fake. Love you all.”

Talking about that fake news, Nathan was quite surprised as he doesn’t know how it has come.
The 38-year-old quoted according to stuff, “I don’t know where that came from or what it was all about, but I’m very much alive and kicking and having a good time with my mates last night. So it was a bit of a surprise at the end of the night, that’s for sure.”
He also added that he had even no operation in recent times.
Nathan said on this, “No nothing like that. I’m all alive and kicking, going good.”
Making his international cricket debut in 2007, the off-spinner Nathan played 84 ODIs and 63 T20Is before announcing his retirement in 2016.
