Meanwhile, Ben Stokes, who’s also a part of the Royals, made an observation about Kartik as he feels that the youngster has a run-up similar to Brett Lee and he releases the ball like the veteran Indian pacer, Ishant Sharma. He took to Twitter and write, “Tyagi has a run-up like Brett Lee and delivers like Ishant Sharma @rajasthanroyals.”

Replying to the same, New Zealand fast bowler Mitchell McClenaghan stated that Tyagi has mannerisms similar to Tom Curran, Lee, and West Indies’ Alzarri Joseph. McClenaghan ln tweeted, “Tom Curran to start Brett Lee middle Alzarri Joseph delivery.”

Here’s Stokes’ tweet:

Lee, who’s in Star Sports’ commentary panel, took time out to reply on Stokes’ message and he agreed with the English cricketer. He replied to Stokes and wrote, “Yeh I can see that mate.”

Tyagi had played a crucial role got the India U19 team in the World Cup earlier this year in South Africa. The team, under the captaincy of Priyam Garg, made the final where Akbar Ali’s Bangladesh beat them by three wickets. Tyagi was impressive as he had scalped as many as 11 wickets from six matches at an economy of 3.45. He was also India’s most successful pacer in the multi-nation.
