Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has heaped praise on Ravindra Jadeja, calling him one of the fittest and most complete cricketers in the modern game. Lee, known for his sharp observations, even joked that the only way Jadeja could ever get injured is through his trademark sword celebration after reaching a fifty or a century.

Jadeja enjoyed a sensational tour of England, emerging as one of India’s most reliable performers. Across five Tests, the all-rounder amassed 516 runs at an outstanding average of 86, while also contributing with the ball by claiming seven crucial wickets. His ability to influence matches in both departments has once again underlined why he is regarded among the finest all-rounders of this era.
“The only way I see him getting injured is doing a rotator cuff, with the way he does the sword celebration. I love it. Look after your body, don’t celebrate too hard,” Brett Lee said with a smile.

Lee also believes Jadeja has plenty of cricket left in him and backed him to comfortably cross the 100-Test milestone. “Another 15 Tests, that’s about two years. I think he’ll go past the 100 mark. At 36 years of age, he’s still got a good couple of years left in him. He’s definitely one of the best all-rounders we’ve seen,” Brett Lee added.

“He’s simple, effective, and consistent. He bowls the right line and length, gets through overs quickly, and always puts his body on the line. Despite being 36, he remains the fittest in the Indian squad and thrives in pressure situations. If you were to design the perfect cricketer, Jadeja would be right at the top,” Lee said.
India will next rely on Jadeja’s all-round brilliance in the upcoming Test series against the West Indies, where his consistency and experience are expected to play a vital role once again.
