Though Harbhajan Singh missed a few games for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) or out of the national team now, he is still pretty much dangerous with the ball. He always gives his best whenever he gets the chance. He even has been in a great form in the ongoing season of IPL. He was brought to Chennai in 2018 and since then he hasn’t disappointed at all. He has taken 16 wickets from 10 matches at an economy of 7.12 where the best was 3/20 against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the first game of the league.

On May 10, Chennai played the Qualifier 2 against the Delhi Capitals (DC) in Visakhapatnam where he picked up Shikhar Dhawan and Sherfane Rutherford. His spell helped his side to restrict Delhi for 147 in 20 overs which also helped them to win the game by six wickets. Meanwhile, former Australia bowler Brett Lee praised Harbhajan’s bowling. He said that Singh is pretty much aware of the line and length against certain batsmen. However, Lee has termed him as a ‘confident’ individual.

“He exactly knows where to bowl for certain batsmen. His bowling was outstanding, he got some beautiful shape on the ball again. I love the revolutions of the ball. That tells us that he has good control on the ball. He is bowling with confidence,” Lee was quoted as saying in Star Sports Select Dugout.

“His stand is basically right-handers vs left-handers. Just shows how good a bowler he is. He can bring in the LBW both against the left and the right-handers,” Lee further added.

Harbhajan Singh is all set to play the final against the Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday, May 12 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium  in Hyderabad
