As the cricketing events have come to a halt since the past three months due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, some of the stalwarts have been enjoying their time with the family at home and the premier Indian fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah is no exception to that. The right-arm seamer recently took to Instagram and posted a heartfelt message on the birthday of his sister Juhika.
Bumrah showered praises on his sister and hoped for a better future for her. During the lockdown, Jasorit Bumrsh had earlier shared a picture with Juhika as well. On many previous occasions, the Indian pacer has given us family goals by posting heartwarming messages for his sister and mother.
Captioning the picture with his sister, Bumrah on Instagram wrote: “You have a way of brightening everyone’s world with your warm smile & beautiful soul. With each passing year, I hope you shine brighter & all your wishes come true. Happy birthday Juhika. #sistersbirthday”. The comment section of the post immediately filled in no time as Bumrah fans extended greetings for his sister on her birthday.
Bumrah heaped praise for the veteran Sri Lankan pacer, Lasith Malinga, saying. ‘He Is the Best Yorker Bowler in the World.’
Meanwhile, Jasprit played his last international game during India’s tour of New Zealand earlier this year. His next assignment was set to get underway with the start of IPL 2020 where he represents Mumbai Indiana. However, the cash-rich league was also called off owing to the COVID-19 scare.
Nevertheless, the Indian Premier League (IPL) governing council chairman Brijesh Patel had clarified that the Indian cricket board is planning to conduct the 13th edition of the tournament in October-November. However, they will have to wait for the official confirmation of the International Cricket Council (ICC) regarding the postponement of the T20 World Cup.
