Australia’s explosive batsman Chris Lynn is back in the competitive cricket after a long eight month break due to shoulder injury, but he is not eyeing to crack into the One-Day International setup again. He cleared that he has to be 100 percent fir if he is representing national team at the biggest level.
After missing first two games of Big Bash League, Lynn arrived in Brisbane Heat in his usual flamboyant style. Speaking about his recovery, he said “I’ve played one T20 game so that’s not even in the back of my mind.”
In his return match, he scored stroke-filled 25 in just nine balls, which featured 4 boundaries apart from a towering six.
As the Ashes is nearing to its conclusion, the limited-over leg will commence very soon against England. Despite he is back on the cricket field, the Brisbane lad doesn’t look too far ahead to feature in International cricket.
“I still can’t throw with my dominant hand and still believe to play for Australia you’ve got to be 100 percent fit. I’d love to be out there but I still think I’ve got a fair way to go,” Lynn added.
