And now, the fixtures for the Nidahas T20 Trophy 2018 have been announced. The series will see 7 T20Is played in the month of March 2018. It is worth remarking that the last time these three teams had clashed in a T20I competition, it was in the ICC World T20 in India in 2016. Team India was the most successful among the three in the tournament as they had ended up as the semi-finalists. Ahead of the same, these three teams had also participated in the Asia Cup 2016.
In that tournament as well, it was the Indian cricket team that had bagged the top honors with the title win. In the recent times, both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have been fighting with form. On the contrast to the same, excluding the current South African tour, Team India has a purple patch to boast about.
Interestingly, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are currently involved in an ODI tri-series in Bangladesh which had Zimbabwe as the third side. Sri Lanka recently underwent an upsetting defeat against Zimbabwe in one of the fixtures of that tri-series.

Going by the current form of the three teams, one would expect Virat Kohli and his men to emerge out triumphant in the tri-series in March. Having said that, one can never rule out Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
