After his confirmation, CSK posted a tweet using emojis that sent a wave of speculation on social media. The hints were suggesting that CSK could retain up to five players while keeping their Right to Match (RTM) card option open.

The emojis of the tweet hinted at a few players: a helicopter most likely representing Dhoni, who is famous for his “helicopter shot,” indicated that he might return in the iconic yellow jersey. A Kiwi emoji hinted at a New Zealand player, possibly Rachin Ravindra or Devon Conway, and sword and horse emojis appeared to reference Ravindra Jadeja.
Fans swiftly attached these to Jadeja’s signature “sword” celebration with his bat after scoring fifties and his known love for horse riding. Few other franchises have made any clear announcements.
