Dhruv Majethia, a proud and confessed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) superfan, recently brought together his love for cricket and romance in the most entertaining way possible. At his wedding to Aashima Kakkar, Majethia surprised everyone by introducing a quirky “cricket contract” before completing the traditional Hindu wedding rituals, turning a solemn moment into a viral celebration of fandom.

The light-hearted contract, read aloud by the bride at the mandap, humorously laid down one key condition — uninterrupted permission for the groom to attend all future matches involving MS Dhoni, CSK and even Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Only after this clause was accepted would Majethia agree to take the sacred seven pheras. The playful exchange left guests in splits and perfectly captured the spirit of India’s deep-rooted cricket culture.
Majethia later shared the video on Instagram, where the couple can be seen laughing together as Aashima reads out the mock agreement. Her constant smile and the crowd’s enthusiastic reaction added to the moment’s charm, making it an instant hit among cricket fans online.

“Contract before seven pheras. She gets me for life, I get Thala and CSK matches for life. Fair deal, no?” Majethia captioned the post, underlining his lifelong devotion to MS Dhoni and the Yellow Army.
