After completing their two-year suspension, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is ready to make a comeback in Indian Premier League (IPL) with a new partner.
Kochi-based business conglomerate The Muthoot Group succeeded to secure a three-year deal with CSK as the principal team partner. Due to this deal, The Muthoot Group’s logo will be seen on the front of all CSK players’ jerseys for the next three years.
Alexander George Muthoot, the deputy managing director of The Muthoot Group said on this occasion, “Cricket is one of the popular and most watched sports in India. With the IPL completing 10 years, it has got bigger and better with each year. We have always been in the forefront in sports promotion and celebrate sportsmanship as we have done with several other sports disciplines in the past like football, Kabaddi and also partnered with IPL previously.”

Previously, The Muthoot Group had partnered with Delhi Daredevils. They have also experienced in Indian Super League (ISL) and Pro Kabaddi League (PKL).
Like the previous eight editions, former world-cup winning Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is going to lead the yellow army for this season and that is giving great pleasure to Alexander. He quoted, “It gives us immense pleasure to be associated with Chennai Super Kings being led by a legendary captain in Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This association will help us engage with cricket fans across the nation irrespective of which team they support.”

On the other hand, K. S. Earlier, Bengaluru-based telecommunications company ACT Fibernet became the official internet partner of CSK for this season while India’s leading material with solution company HIL bagged a sponsorship deal with this IPL team for the upcoming season.
