Veteran South African pacer Dale Steyn is all set to make his return in the competitive cricket for Titans in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge tournament against Knights on Wednesday (November 15). He has not played any cricket match for last 12 months after suffering another shoulder injury. His last outing came against Australia in Perth Test, which was played in November 2016.

Steyn said he is fit and ready to take the field once again while talking to Titans’ website. “I am ready to go. Yes, I haven’t played in a year, but there are no massive expectations. I am just looking forward to playing again and feeling part of the game,” he said.

The 34-year-old also assures that he is not eyeing for a sensational return with a five-wicket haul. He added “I’m not asking people to sit back and think I’m going to bowl at 150 kmph and that I’m going to take five wickets. If I can get through the game with minimal damage in terms of economy rate and pick up a wicket or two that would be great.”

This game is expected to be a great encounter as both teams are playing some exceptional cricket. Add to that, both have won their previous games as well comprehensively against their opponents. While Albie Morkel and AB de Villiers are capable of doing damage for Titans, Theunis de Bruyn and David Miller will be their counterparts in this clash. Thus, the game is expected to be the ‘Clash of the Titans’.
