The veteran Australian batter, David Warner on Friday took time out of his busy schedule to give an explanation to trolls who misinterpreted his comment to an Instagram post of former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli on his wife, Anushka Sharma. Warner had the patience to reply to fans who did not get his comment on Kohli’s post.
It all started on Friday when Virat Kohli posted a photo of his wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and captioned it ‘my world’ with emojis. David Warner was pretty quick to comment, ‘Lucky man mate’. However, Warner was trolled for the comment with a section of fans misinterpreting it.

“It’s a saying we use in Australia, like I would say I’m lucky to have Candice Warner. So, when we say to others, we say ‘You’re lucky, mate’ or ‘You’re blessed, mate’. Interpretation is always going to be different,” Warner explained further. Virat Kohli also responded to David Warner’s comment, giving a strong reply to the trolls, saying: “I know mate”.
Virat Kohli received a lot of love for the heartwarming post wherein he flaunted his love for Anushka. Warner, who shares a wonderful relationship on and off the field with Kohli, was among the first ones to respond to the star batter’s viral post on the photo-sharing platform.
Notably, Kohli is in the UAE playing for India at the ongoing Asia Cup. The former India captain’s place in the T20I side was questioned after he struggled to return to form following an ordinary IPL 2022 campaign with Royal Challengers Bangalore.

He built on the good start and hit 3 sixes and a boundary for his 44-ball 59 in India’s 40-run win over Hong Kong in Dubai on Wednesday.
