Australia’s veteran opener, David Warner is currently leading the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 2020 edition of the tournament. The skipper has amassed 284 runs at an average of 35.50 and his strike-rate, which is currently at 121.88, isn’t on the higher side either. Though Warner has a couple of half-centuries, he would be hoping to return back to his aggressive form for SRH’s successful run in the T20 extravaganza.

Despite the heated environment and the tense competition of making it to the playoffs, Warner seems to be enjoying his time in the middle as he provides enough entertainment to the audience and his fellow cricketers. The veteran opener on Saturday posted one of his embarrassing videos on his official Instagram handle.

The 2016 Champions SRH is precariously placed in the middle of the points table. The team, captained by David Warner, have won only three out of their first eight games and need a string of wins to climb the latter. The Orange Army had a disappointing start to their campaign in the 13th edition of the IPL as they lost their first two consecutive fixtures against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 10 runs and 7 sixes wickets respectively.

However, the SRH made a comeback by defeating the Delhi Capitals (DC) by 15 runs before registering a clinical in over three-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 7 runs. Following this SRH lost to defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) by 34 runs and clinched the game against wooden-spooners Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) by a massive 69 runs.

The Orange Army should be a tad low on confidence, especially after losing their last couple of matches against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) and MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The Sunrisers are next scheduled to lock horns with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Sunday, October 18 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
