The 30-year-old Indian right-handed top-order batsman Kohli is the top-ranked Test and ODI batsman. Currently, he is in a top form with the bat.

Recently, in last October, Kohli became the fastest batsman to score 10,000 ODI runs after breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 259 innings, while Kohli achieved this feat in just 205 ODI innings.

The former Indian right-handed top-order batsman Tendulkar, who scored 18,426 runs in ODI career after playing 463 matches, hit 49 ODI centuries. Meanwhile, Kohli has scored 10,385 ODI runs in 219 ODIs. The present Indian captain Kohli is the second most ODI century scorer as he has hit 39 ODI centuries and standing just behind the Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar.

However, Jones pointed out the success rate of Kohli’s ODI centuries. While the 30-year-old present Indian captain Kohli has hit the most number of international hundreds (11) in Australia as a non-Australian batsman, he is the most number of ODI century scorer in the chasing (24) as well as the successful chasing (21).

In addition, among his 39 ODI centuries, 32 centuries have been in the winning cause which is a remarkable success. While Tendulkar is standing on the top of the most number of ODI centuries in the winning cause with 33 centuries, Kohli is just at the next position.

He wrote, “I’ve noticed now that 32 of Virat Kohli’s 39 hundreds in One-day cricket have come in a winning cause. He now has 11 international hundreds in Australia, the most in all formats by visiting batsmen. He’s such a magnificent player and I get the feeling, with all due respect to Sachin Tendulkar, that he will be known as the greatest One-day player of all time.”
