“We have our plans for every single bowler that we come up against,” he said. He acknowledged the quality in the Rajasthan Royals squad, adding, “They have a good side with exciting young players, and I am sure it will be a difficult game.” However, he stressed that RCB’s approach would remain unchanged. “We must trust our strengths and stick to our positive aspects for as long as possible,” he added.

Devdutt Padikkal credited his form to a productive domestic season with Karnataka, where he consistently delivered across formats. “I think it’s a lot to do with the confidence that you get out of scoring a lot of runs,” he explained. He added that entering the IPL with strong performances behind him has helped him maintain rhythm and composure.
