Chennai Super Kings’ opener Devon Conway has made headlines with his stunning shows so far for the New Zealand cricket team. On the back of his brilliant batting performances, Conway earned an IPL contract from the Chennai Super Kings at the IPL 2022 Auction as well. However, he recently shared that he got married a few days ago before joining CSK camp and he only had a short honeymoon of one day as well.

While speaking with the host broadcasters prior to the match between the Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, Conway was also asked about his honeymoon, where he stated: “Unfortunately, we only had a one day honeymoon break, that was the day after the wedding and then I had to fly out early morning the next day.”

Devon Conway further added: “Unfortunately, she is not with me now, she is going to spent a couple of extra weeks in South Africa, just spend some time with family and friends and then straight through to New Zealand.”

However, MS Dhoni has once again returned as the captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) after Ravindra Jadeja has stepped down from the position. And, he is currently leading the team during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday as well.

However, with his return, it is expected that he will lead the team for the remainder of the season as well. “You will definitely see me in the yellow jersey [next year], whether this yellow jersey or some other yellow jersey, that’s a different thing. The kind of catches we have dropped are not the ones you can practise. With the ball, we don’t want to bowl big overs, 18 runs are okay but not 24-25 runs,” MS Dhoni has said during the toss before the match against SRH.
