During the ongoing ODI between India and Sri Lanka at Mohali, Mahendra singh Dhoni and Yuzvendra Chahal’s combined efforts dented the Sri Lankan chase to a point from where winning seemed a fat-fetched reality.

Dhoni added yet another stumping to his account as he stumped Asela Gunaratne off Chahal in the 31st over. On the last delivery of the same over, both of them joined hands to send back the Sri Lankan captain, Thisara Perera.

Sri Lanka, who were set a target of 393 by the Indians never really got going as they lost wickets at regular intervals. Gunaratne, who came in to bat at No. 6 in the 23rd over, ended up scoring 34 (30) with the help of five fours. On the other hand, Perera could only score 5 (3) including a four.
