Maharashtra is one of the worst affected states in India with more than 120 cases. And Pune, like Mumbai, has witnessed more Coronavirus patients in the state to date. And to help the daily wage workers in the city, the former India skipper MS Dhoni has decided to donate ₹1 lakh via crowdfunding website Ketto to the Mukul Madhav Foundation, a public charitable trust in Pune.

The donations made to this website will be used to provide daily grocery essentials to the families of the daily wage workers in the city. MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi shared the link of the same on her Instagram story and also urged people to come forward and donate as much as possible. The fundraiser has set a goal of achieving ₹12.5 lakh for the noble cause and the 38-year-old is the highest donor in the list at the moment.
