The Indian wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik has turned 33 on Friday and some warm wishes poured in for him. Karthik’s wife and ace Indian squash player Dipika Pallikal Karthik shared some love-soaked pictures of her husband on Instagram. While cricket might not be interesting enough for Dipika, she does know how to make her husband feel special on such a day through social media platforms.

While many cricketers’ wives come to see IPL matches, Karthik had acknowledged that Dipika isn’t fond of the sport, she rarely visits stadiums to see him play. He revealed, “She comes for the odd IPL match. But she does not enjoy cricket so we don’t have many conversations about it.”

He further added, “My wife never saw my match. She gets nervous. Her sisters watched it. Cricket is not her favorite sport. She watches squash when it comes on TV. Cricket does not interest her much.”

The Tamil Nadu lad has played 122 international games for India and scored 2765 runs so far in his career full of hiccups.
Karthik recently revived his career with a match-winning knock to guide the Indian cricket team to the Nidahas Trophy win in Sri Lanka.
