DJ Bravo Gives ‘Helicopter Song’ To MS Dhoni On His Birthday

Former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni is celebrating his 39th birthday on Tuesday but his Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammate Dwayne Bravo surprisingly came upon with a unique birthday gift. Bravo released the trailer of “helicopter song” based on the journey of the India skipper.

Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Bravo wrote: “Are you ready for this!! in 1hr the helicopter ย will be taking off!! @mahi7781 song along with music video will be available on all digital platforms ย as promise to my fans and all Thala fans around the world ย this is our birthday gift ย to him @chennaiipl thx to my champion team for this project.”

CSK also shared the complete song based on their skipper as they tweeted: “The Helicopter 7 has taken off! @DJBravo47’s tribute to #Thala @msdhoni, his brother from another mother! #HappyBirthdayDhoni #WhistlePodu”.

In the song, Bravo highlighted each and every achievement of Dhoni in international cricket. MS has teh record of winning all the three major ICC trophies for India. The song also captured the past life of Mahi when he used work as a ticket collector in the Indian railways before making an international debut.ย

Dhoni’s first major success as the Indian skipper when he led teh young Team India to lift the inaugural World T20 title in 2007. In 2011, Dhoni ended India’s 28-year-long wait for winning the 50-over World Cup in front of their home crowd at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

In 2013, Dhoni made a record of becoming the only international captain on all three major ICC trophies when he led India to the 2013 Champions Trophy in England.

Dhoni played his last international game in July 2019, when India suffered an unforgettable loss against New Zealand in the semi-final of the World Cup. He was scheduled to make a comeback to competitive cricket during the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which has been postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
