England and Wales Cricket Board has finally released a statement after watching the video of the fight in Bristol which led to the arrest of Ben Stoke. However, they had earlier dropped Ben Stokes and Alex Hales from the ODI squad for the last two matches against West Indies.

The statement read: “Ben Stokes and Alex Hales will not be considered for selection for England international matches until further notice.”

Ben Stokes and Alex Hales’ trouble increased once the video footage went viral on social media on Thursday as ECB decided to suspend both of them until further notice. However, it is unclear whether Ben Stokes will remain a part of the Ashes squad which was revealed on Wednesday, and he was named vice-captain.
