Australia all-rounder Ben Cutting is currently plying his trade in the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He is playing for the Peshawar Zalmi and was involved in a hilarious incident while batting in a game on Friday. He seemed to have got out while facing the spinner Mohammad Nabi but in the end, later on, it was seen that wicket-keeper Mohammad Kamran Akmal had knocked off the bails by mistake.
During this incident, the wife of Ben Cutting, Erin Holland looked relieved and her reaction has gone viral on social media. However, in the end, she was relieved to know that Cutting was still at the crease. Meanwhile, Holland is also working as an anchor in the ongoing PSL edition but is staying in a different bubble than Ben Cutting.

The incident took place in the 14th over of the innings, when Ben Cutting tried to cut the back foot off Mohammad Nabi. While he failed to make contact with the ball and it rolled on after hitting his pads, at the same time the bails fell off its groove. Many felt that the Australian batter played the ball onto his stumps.
However, a few seconds later, Karachi Kings wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal confirmed that he disturbed the bails mistakenly and it brought a big sigh of relief on the face of Erin Holland who looked sad thinking that her husband got out. As soon as she got to know that Cutting was not-out, a big beaming smile was back on her face.

As far as the match is concerned, Cutting’s franchise Peshawar Zalmi registered their second win in PSL 2022 and have moved to the fourth position in the points table after a 9-run win over the Karachi Kings. They had to battle hard for the win as Babar Azam played a match-winning knock of 90* and Mohammad Umar bowled a spell comprising three wickets which helped him take his side over the line. Karachi Kings have now lost all their four matches and things are not looking good for them at the moment.
