The 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup is just four months away to begin that will be organised by England and Wales from 30 May to 14 July. Ten teams will participate in the 12th edition of the Cricket World Cup, while the two-time WC champion (1983 & 2011) Indian cricket team is one of the favourite sides.

Currently, there are the strong competitions within the Indian cricket team and many players have the strong dreams to feature in the upcoming biggest global cricket tournament. Here we are talking about the top five Indian players who have the high chances to miss the 2019 WC flight.

The 32-year-old Indian middle-order batsman Suresh Raina has the huge experience in his limited-overs career as he has also played two World Cups (2011 and 2015), including India’s victory in 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup. He has played last international match, both the ODI and T20I, was in July 2018 during India’s tour of England.

Though the national team management is still serious to strengthen the middle-order batting option, Raina’s chance for the upcoming WC doesn’t seem in any positive way. His recent domestic performances are not so consistent to open a late opportunity for him to return the national squad.
