While every cricketer is respected in the world cricket, the special and top successful players have grabbed the special attention from the fans all through their career. The first and last international games are always special for every cricketer where they want to shine.

In the international cricket history, there are some cricketers who had a tall successful career but also had a sad end. Here we are talking about five successful cricketers who had a sad finish in their international career.

Former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid was one of the very famous batsmen in the world cricket history as he was famously known as “The Wall”. The right-handed top-order batsman played 164 Tests, 344 ODIs and only T20I where he scored 13,288 Test runs (average 52.31), 10,889 ODI runs (average 39.16) and 31 T20I runs (average 31.00).

While he had a long successful international career, his final international cricket match ended with a sad note. It was the fourth and final Test of the series between the hosts Australia and the visitors India at Adelaide in January 2012. Dravid only scored 1 and 25 runs in that game while the hosts Australia crushed India by 298 runs and also completed the whitewash in that Test series (Australia won by 4-0).
