While Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman were one of the best partners in the Test cricket history, they ended their international career through the same game – against Australia at Adelaide in January 2012 (fourth and final Test of the series). In that last international cricket match, Laxman scored only 18 and 35, where Australia easily won by the 298 runs.

The right-handed batsman VVS Laxman played 134 Tests and 86 ODIs for the nation where he scored 8,781 runs (average 45.97) and 2,338 runs (average 30.76) respectively.
