The veteran Indian off-spinner, Harbhajan Singh has urged Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to take some immediate action in order to put an end to terror across the border. Meanwhile, the recent cowardly Terror attack In Pulwama has created a stir countrywide as a Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) rammed an explosives-laden car into a CRPF bus, killing at least 40 soldiers and leaving many critically wounded. As an aftermath of the same, India has cut several ties with the neighboring country.

The entire nation was left in utter shock watching the death of their brave sons who lost their lives in the Terror attack. Following the attack, India immediately withdrew Pakistan’s Most Favoured Nation status, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned that the perpetrators of the attack would have to pay a huge price for the same. Many people from different spheres have expressed their thoughts on similar lines, and Harbhajan Singh is the latest addition to it.

Talking to India Today, Harbhajan said, “I can only tell Imran Khan that he should take steps so that these issues can be addressed and how they can be addressed, he knows best. We are too small to understand how these issues can be tackled politically. But there should be an end to this. An end after which not a single soldier of ours has to lose his life. Because every soldier is someone’s son or brother and only that family can understand the pain.”

However, in a conference on Tuesday, Imran Khan has noted that they will act sincerely if India can prove their claim. Otherwise, he also issued a warning that Pakistan will retaliate if India declares war on them.

Harbhajan also voiced his opinion calling for India to boycott the World Cup match against Pakistan, this year, if need be, to register their protest. He said, “India should not play Pakistan in the World Cup. India is powerful enough to win the World Cup without having to play Pakistan.”
