Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya entertained the Sydney Cricket Ground spectators through few cool dance steps during the fourth day of the ongoing fourth and final Test match of the series against the hosts Australia.
The day four of the Test match was mostly interrupted in the rain and bad light. It was a delayed around 3:30 hours to start the day. Though Pandya is not playing the game, he came to the field as a substitute fielder for the team. When he got an opportunity to entertain the fans, he used it in a cool way. During the day’s play, Pandya showed few dance moves when the Bharat Army group members – the biggest supporting community of Indian cricket team, were chanting for him.

The 25-year-old Indian pace-bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya hasn’t played an international game since the final group stage match against Pakistan at Dubai (DSC) in the Asia Cup 2018 on 19 September 2018. During that game, Pandya suffered an acute back injury when he was bowling and soon he had to leave the ground on a stretcher.
He has already missed the remaining Asia Cup from the Super Four stage, the whole Windies tour of India (two Tests, five-ODIs and three T20Is), the three-match T20I series and the ongoing four-match Test series against the hosts Australia.

Since he was replaced in the middle stage of 2018 Asia Cup tournament, Pandya was recovering from his injury. Initially, he was not in the full-member squad in the ongoing Test series in Australia. However, observing his improved fitness, Pandya has been added in the Test squad for the final two Tests of the series.
Recently, after recovering from that big injury, Pandya returned to the game through the domestic cricket. In his comeback game for Baroda against Mumbai at Mumbai in the group stage game of 2018/19 Ranji Trophy, Hardik took a total of seven wickets (5/81 & 2/21), including a five-wicket haul and also played a valuable 73-run knock. Those all-round performances helped him to return to the Test squad.
Though Pandya hasn’t played the remaining Test matches of the series, he is also in the ODI squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against the hosts Australia, starting on 12 January. It is expected that the young all-rounder can finally return to the national squad during the upcoming ODI series.
