Team India and New Zealand are locking horns with each other in the second game of the three-match ODI series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Owing to the brilliant bowling of the Indian new ball bowlers, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj, the Kiwis were reeling at 15/3 after 9 overs but the Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya increased the agony of the visitors by taking an exceptional catch off his own bowling.

Earlier in the game, During the toss, the Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma won the toss and for a brief movement, he forgot what to do, but he eventually decided to bowl first. Both the teams made no changes to their playing XIs as compared with the opening game of the series in Hyderabad where the hosts registered a win by a narrow margin of 12 runs.

On the 4th ball of the 10th over, Hardik Pandya took a sharp one-handed return catch, and that too with his left hand. He bowled a full-length delivery and the Kiwi opener, Devon Conway drove it back but the ball was very low and Pandya did well to go low quickly in his follow-through and pluck the ball out of thin air before it touches the ground, and then he tumbled with the ball firmly in his hand.

Here is the video of the exceptional catch from Hardik Pandya:
