In this match, MI suffered a loss by 7 wickets. During the match, Bangalore’s star bowler Harshal Patel got very heartbreaking news as his sister who had been ill for some days passed away.
Bangalore faced the Mumbai team in the second match of the doubleheader match on Saturday. It was during this match that the news of the unfortunate demise of the sister of Bangalore fast bowler Harshal came.
In this hour of grief, the team appeared with this player and the management made arrangements to go home immediately. Harshal Patel was part of the Bio Bubble due to the tournament and now he has left the bio bubble and gone to his house, because of the incident, now he may have to follow the rules of quarantine to return back to the bubble. He will be joining back the team after a day. His sister was ill, so much information has been received.
“Unfortunately, Harshal had to leave the bio-bubble due to a death in his family. It was his sister. He did not take the team bus back to Mumbai from Pune,” PTI reported quoting an IPL source. “He will be rejoining the bubble before the next game against CSK on April 12,” the source added.

Batting first against Bangalore in the evening match, Mumbai scored 151 for 6 on the basis of Suryakumar Yadav’s half-century. Harshal bowled brilliantly in this match and took 2 wickets by spending 23 runs in 4 overs. Chasing the target, Bangalore won by losing 3 wickets in 18.3 overs. Anuj Rawat played an unbeaten 66 while Virat Kohli was dismissed after scoring 48 runs.
