During the third and the final T20I against West Indies in Karachi, Mohammad Hasnain and Iftikhar Ahmed managed to recreate the infamous catch drop of Shoab Malik and Saeed Ajmal. The incident took place in the 8th over of the first innings bowled by Mohammad Nawaz. Earlier in the game, West Indies skipper Nicholas Pooran won the toss and decided to bat first with the hope of winning their first game of the series.
On the second ball of the 8th over, Nawaz bowled a length ball on the stumps and Shamarh Brooks came down the track but failed to reach the pitch of the ball. The bat rotated in his hands as he tries to hit it against the spin. The ball ends up going up in the sky and it was coming down towards long-on.

Hasnain came running from long-off and called for taking the catch but Iftikhar was also in the position to take it. In the end, Iftikhar decided to leave the ball for Hasnain, who was equally distracted and they eventually failed to take the catch. Here is the video of the dropped catch:

With Hasnain and Iftikhar dropping a dolly of a catch, both Pakistani players were trolled on social media. Cricketers Saeed Ajmal and Shoaib Malik had famously dropped a similar catch during a match between Pakistan and West Indies in 2008.

Talking about the 3rd T20I meeting between Pakistan and the West Indies, stand-in skipper Pooran played a captain’s knock of 64 off 37 balls to help the visitors set a massive total in the Karachi showdown. Batting first in the final match of the T20I series, Windies openers Brandon King (43) and Brooks (49) laid the foundation of a gigantic target for the Pooran-led side. Riding on Darren Bravo’s quick-fire 34* off 27 balls, Pooran & his men managed to set a challenging total of 207-3 in the 20-over contest.
