The Indian stalwarts Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are arguably the best players in the limited-overs format for India. Virat is at another level in the longest format but his deputy is no way less than him in the ODIs and T20Is over the last few years. Though the Indian skipper hasn’t played much in the shortest format of the game at the highest level in las one year, there is no denying that he still tops the list even then. While the debate of who is the best among the duo is going on forever, the famous model and actress Sofia Hayat has given her views on the debate.
Talking about the statistics, Kohli has scored at an average of 49.25 in the 65 T20Is with 19 half-centuries at an impeccable strike rate of 136.12. He has also amassed 2167 runs in the format with only a few players ahead of Virat. On the other hand, Rohit has been part of Team India in 93 T20Is and is the highest run-getter overall with 2326 runs to his name.
Moreover, Rohit has also smashed 20 fifty-plus scores at a strike-rate of 138.04 which is a tad better than Virat Kohli at the moment. It will be interesting to see if both will play together in the upcoming series against Australia. Reports suggest that Virat will return while Rohit will finally get some rest ahead of the World Cup.
