T20 Cricket has changed the West Indies Cricket completely

There was 70s to 80s era when players like Andy Robert, Malcolm Marshall and Joel Garner were the dominating the cricket arena with their express pace. While towards the 90s there were the interesting characters like Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh who took up the charge and carried on the legacy of former greats and rebuild the team in transition phase. While towards the late 90s era there came up Brian Lara ‘an artist of different talent’ who destroyed the opposition with his flamboyance.

With more T20 leagues in the world these days players get more chances to represent the nation and to earn more money in the quick period of time.

As Ian Bishop has never got the chance to play T20 Cricket along with few other commenters still after the format is not very old.

Ian Bishop says, “Recently the Indian captain as a player you have to play all formats of the game apart from test cricket”.

“Maybe teams like New Zealand, India and Pakistan are the favorites to lift the T20 World Cup. But the experience West Indies have in the line up they are up for another T20 World Cup trophy”.
