The ICC has come up with an apology for the technical glitch on 15th February that saw the Indian team hold the no.1 position in the Test rankings before it was reversed and Australia was restored as the No.1 team. On Wednesday, it seemed that the Indian team were all set to hold the top spot in all three formats of the game as the latest update placed India on top of the ICC Test rankings.

However, in an interesting turn of events, a change was made to the rankings and Australia was restored to the top with 126 rating points.
