Australia won a nail-biting battle against India as they successfully defended their first innings total of 272 where Adam Zampa again stumbled the Indian batting line-up as he came and dismissed the line-up which was almost set to chase the target easily. Australia were 0-2 down after second ODI and won all three matches in a do or die situation.
The first ODI at Hyderabad India won by 6 wickets with the calm partnership between Dhoni and Jadhav, later Vijay Shankar’s final over where he defended 11 runs to add another win to India’s name and in the third ODI Australia opened their account with brilliant knocks by Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja, the 4th ODI where Australia recorded a successful run-chase against India chasing 359 with 2 overs yet to spare and in the final ODI they took the series away from India by defending 272 and winning the game by 35 runs and the series by 3-2.

1. Rohit Sharma
The Hitman scored 202 runs at the top order and was the 4th highest overall and missed his century just by 5 runs in the Mohali ODI. He also scored a 50 at Kotla and was in a good touch better then compared to Australian captain Aaron Finch, so hitman deserves the opening slot in the playing XI.
2. Usman Khawaja
It was the most classic performance by Khawaja as he scored his maiden hundred at Ranchi and also scored three 90+ scores in the series. He ended up being the highest run-scorer of the series with 383 runs under his belt which he scored with the help of two half-centuries and two hundreds.
