The host Australian side is in deep trouble in the ongoing Sydney Test match against the visiting side India after they are battling on 236/6 at the early stumps on day three. The Indian spinners dominated the day to make sure that the hosts can’t return in the ongoing series anymore.
Loved the way Kohli has set fields today. In fact, in most parts this series. Bowlers have responded beautifully too… #AusvInd #7Cricket @7Cricket @1116sen

The Aussie skipper and wicketkeeper-batsman Tim Paine was bowled on 5 runs. Struggling on 198/6, Handscomb and Pat Cummins had an unbroken 38-run partnership for the seventh wicket till the end of the day as Australia was battling on 236/6. The day was called off earlier due to bad light and rain interruption. Australia is still trailing by 386 runs while they have to score at least 187 runs more to not face the follow-on.
At the stumps of the day, Handscomb was batting on 28 runs off 91 balls (3 fours) and Cummins was playing on 25 runs off 41 balls (6 fours).
Indian spinners had a very good day on Saturday as they bagged five out of the six wickets. While the left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav had a bowling figure of 24-6-71-3, the other left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja finished the day with the bowling figure of 27.3-9-62-2. Apart from them, the right-arm pacer Mohammed Shami (1/54) picked up the other wicket of the day.
It’s still a pitch that’s not producing wicket taking deliveries but then this Australian batting line up has the ability of making average deliveries into wicket taking.😔#AUSvIND #MatchDay

This isn't yet a threatening pitch. India have bowled very well and Australia's batsmen have helped with some ordinary batting.
