Anushka Sharma, who is wife Virat Kohli the captain of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), wasn’t physically present with her husband in the game against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in Indore, but she didn’t forget to send her to him. The actress is currently in the United States along with co-star Shah Rukh Khan to shoot for Aanand L Rai’s Zero but that the quite pumped up Anushka has been giving a shout out to her husband from the USA.
Keeping a close track of the match even from her vanity van, the Bollywood diva shared a series of mirror selfies from her makeup room wherein she is seen watching the match on her phone and cheering for the team as they pick up a wicket. RCB has been facing a tough time this season and today’s match will decide its fate in the semi-finals.

Earlier today, Anushka gave a shout out to the team, by sporting a T-shirt which Virat Kohli’s name written on the back. She wrote, “Come on boys”

In the first innings of the match, barring Aaron Finch’s 26, KL Rahul and Chris Gayle’s 18, no other batsman took the responsibility. No one could even cross the double figures. By the end, there were three run-outs and Punjab was folded up for 88. Umesh Yadav was the pick of the bowlers with 3/23. RCB needed only 89 runs to win and they chased it down comfortably in the end with around 12 overs to spare and all the 10 wickets in hand. Bangalore openers, Virat Kohli (48) and Parthiv Patel (40) did the job for their team.
