During the first Qualifier of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Mumbai, Chennai Super Kings’ Dwayne Bravo grabbed an amazing catch off his own bowling to dismiss Yusuf Pathan.

Earlier Mahendra Singh Dhoni, captain of Chennai Super Kings, had won the toss and chose to field. Making a solitary change to their playing eleven, Chennai brought in Shane Watson in place of Sam Billings. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad fielded the same playing eleven.

Bravo was introduced into the bowling attack as the second-change bowler in the seventh over of the first innings. Pathan came in to bat at No. 6 in the same over. His wicket put the Sunrisers into further trouble.

It happened on the last delivery of the 15th over when Pathan hit a Bravo delivery straight back to him. The ball was hit back hard to Bravo which made it a difficult catch. Fortunately for the fielding side, the ball stuck to Dwayne Bravo’s hands. Pathan ended up scoring 24 (29) with the help of three fours.
