On Sunday afternoon, the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) had a very important match against the hosts Delhi Daredevils (DD) at Feroz Shah Kotla (Delhi) where they had to win at any cost for securing their spot in the playoffs of IPL 2018. But it was not the good day for MI as they suffered an 11-run defeat. When MI all-rounder Hardik Pandya was dismissed at the crucial stage, an MI cheerleader showed how passionate she is for her teams.
Chasing down the target of 175 runs, MI had a good start as they scored 57/1 at the end of the powerplay (6 overs). But since then, the Mumbai franchise suffered a huge batting collapse as they suddenly went down to 78/5.

From that situation, Hardik Pandya tried to rescue his team with his powerful familiar batting skills. His batting suddenly threatening the hosts as Hardik quickly scored 27 runs off just 16 balls with 2 fours and only six. But in the next delivery, Hardik was caught out and broke MI’s hope. DD leg-spinner Amit Mishra delivered a ball at wide outside off which Hardik tried to make a big hit but that took a leading edge and Rahul Tewatia made no mistake to grab that catch at backward point.
While Hardik brought back the hope for MI, his dismissal dashed the hopes for the MI fans as there was no recognised batsman available for batting. When Hardik returning to the dressing room, an MI cheerleader felt heartbroken and angrily said: “for f***’s sake”.

That passionate reaction didn’t take much time to get viral on the social media.
Former Australian cricketer Dean Jones retweeted that video and wrote, “Love her passion!”.

Later, Ben Cutting tried hard and created another hope for the defending champions but it was just short for MI’s victory as they were bowled out for 163 runs in 19.3 overs. Cutting scored 37 runs off 20 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes.
Earlier in the game, DD managed to score 174/4 at the end of the 20 overs. Hardik Pandya showed his brilliant presence of mind in the early DD innings when he dismissed the young DD opener Prithvi Shaw with a direct hit at the non-striker end. Shaw was unaware of that incident and got run-out in the disappointing fashion.
