The second playoffs match of the ongoing 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is scheduled to be played between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Kolkata. Both the teams have had a similar kind of journey in the league stages of the season. While KKR started the tournament in the high then lost the momentum in the middle then against got back to the winning ways, RR had a poor start in IPL 2018, but they came back well in the latter half of the tournament. The winner of this match will lock horns with SRH in the Qualifier 2.

However, in terms of the winning momentum, both the teams have won their last matches, while KKR defeated SRH in Hyderabad, RR defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in Jaipur. There is no doubt about the fact that both the teams do have proven match-winners in their respective squads. Let us have a look at 5 such players from both the teams:

1. Dinesh Karthik (KKR)

In the game against KXIP, Dinesh Karthik raced his way to his fastest IPL half-century (off 22 balls). He entered the ground at No. 5 in the 12th over and on the second ball that he faced, Dinesh hit a four through the third-man region off Axar Patel. It was at this point in time that Karthik and Andre Russell stitched a 76-run partnership, which came off 31 balls and strengthened Knight Riders’ position further in the match. On the penultimate delivery of the penultimate over, with a single through point off Andre Russell, Karthik brought up his first half-century of the season.
