Apart from being a superb leg-spinner, the South African cricketer Imran Tahir is also famous for his celebration after picking a wicket. Now, this time his little son copied his father’s celebration and everyone enjoyed that.
Protease cricketer is currently busy in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2018) season as he is playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, the 39-year-old Imran Tahir had a disappointing season in IPL 2018 as he has played only 6 games in this season and he has picked total 6 wickets.
Whatever the players’ performances, it doesn’t matter in the CSK inside. They are a good team and while they are performing really well in this season, they are celebrating every moment as a team unit.
Recently, Imran Tahir’s little son Gibran was asked to copy his father’s wicket celebration. The little boy imitated his father’s celebration perfectly and the CSK team members enjoyed that very well.
Chennai Super Kings posted a video on the Twitter account and wrote, “We asked Gibran what does his dad do when he takes a wicket and this is what happened! Don’t miss the fafulous slide in the presence of @ImranTahirSA and @faf1307 himself! #JuniorParasakthiExpress #WhistlePodu”

Returning from the 2-year IPL suspension, CSK has performed really well in this IPL season. At the end of the double-round robin stage of this season, CSK finished at the second position in the points table with 18 points which were equal with Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) total point but CSK had the lower net-run-rate. In that period, CSK won total nine games and lost other five games.
After getting chance to play the Qualifier 1 against the top-placed team SRH, CSK snatched a thrilling 2-wicket victory (with 5 balls to spare) and advanced for the final match of this season.
Now, CSK is just a win behind to own the IPL 2018 crown. They will play the final of IPL 2018 on this Sunday (May 27) against the Qualifier 2 winner SRH at Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai).
