During the first Qualifier of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Mumbai, Chennai Super Kings’ fast bowler Lungi Ngidi grabbed a low catch to dismiss Sreevats Goswami.

Earlier Mahendra Singh Dhoni, captain of Chennai Super Kings, had won the toss and chose to field. Making a solitary change to their playing eleven, Chennai brought in Shane Watson in place of Sam Billings. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad fielded the same playing eleven.

Goswami was once again sent to open the batting for SRH alongside Shikhar Dhawan. Having lost Dhawan (0) on the first ball of the match, it was crucial for Hyderabad to stitch a good partnership. However, Ngidi, who had opened the bowling alongside Deepak Chahar, had other plans.

On the penultimate delivery of the fourth over, Goswami backed away outside his leg stump. He was cramped for room after the bowler followed him. As a result, Goswami pulled the ball only to hit it straight to Ngidi. With the ball dipping on him, he bent down to grab an impressive catch.
